DEAD ANIMAL REMOVAL
Dead animal removalNuisance Bat and Wildlife control does 2 types of carcass removal. The first is when the dead animals location is know, this is a simple pick up. The other is what we call search and destroy, this is where we will remove sheetrock, disassemble soffits or fascia, drill holes, remove deck boards or do whatever it takes to remove the animal and clean up the mess. It is best if the homeowner can pinpoint the exact area that the smell is coming from; this will minimizes the damage that needs to be repaired. When we have to remove sheetrock we can arrange for a sheet rocker to come in and repair the damage or the homeowner can arrange this themselves. After the dead animal is removed we can fog the area with a product called Bio-shield. This will help with the smell problem and disinfect the area.  We will also recommend what exclusions will be needed in the house to prevent animals from re-gaining entry again. Most animals that have died in a residence have died for two reasons, 1st they gained entry and became trapped / starved or 2nd they gained entry and they were poisoned. Poison is a quick fix that creates problems it doesn’t solve them. Pest control companies like to tell you that the poisoned animals will die outside, but they are wrong.
